As you can see the title of my post is... I present to you... "The Class of 2006"
You may be confused because it is now 2010, not 2006
I titled this post that because it seems like just yesterday I was switching my tassel from one side of my white graduation cap to the other and graduating from Park City High School
Feels like I am just starting college when in fact today
I STARTED MY LAST SEMESTER OF COLLEGE!
Yes that is correct, only one more semester for Miss Ali Knudsen
I will probably have to remind myself of this every time I enter or think about my classes and the fact that
I will not have a Life this semester
and I repeat I will not have a Life this semester!!
Just to let you in on my schedule I will lay it out for you:
I have 19 credits this semester, which ok normally I take 16-17, but 4 of my 5 classes are 5000 level and 4 credits!
I am working 2-3 days a week and doing an internship
Yes I will not have a Life
For some reason I am ok with that because I have made it, I will be done after this and even though I may think that it isn't possible for me to be a real responsible adult come May it is kind of exciting.
Think about it for a second...
For 16 or 17 years it has been school in the fall until summer, then summer break then school. It was a set for sure plan, I will no longer have that. It scares me to death, but it gets my adrenaline going and excites me!
So bring it on, I have made it four years and one more semester is nothing!
So here is to:
To Do Lists (I am obsessed with my lists)
Long nights studying
Long essays and short papers (Which let's be honest at this stage in my college career are a piece of cake)
Class attendance
Class "Friends"
Exams
Assignments
and last but not least Graduation!
Oh to the days where I stood out front of my house to get my picture on the first day of school in my new first day of school outfit, the yellow school bus, recese, school lunches, assemblies, kick ball, PE classes (That are required), Coloring, and so much more! I'll I can say is I am thankful for all my education!
xoxo, A

yay! Ali! Congratulations! I am so proud of you for graduating in 4 years. It took me...well, I won't say how many years, but it was sooo worth it. A college degree is something I am proud of and so glad I went to the effort, time, money to achieve. Good job and I can't wait to welcome you to no homework status in a few months!
