My life is seriously one curve ball after another....
To start things off I will explain why I say this. I was having an amazing day yesterday. I got my first final out of the way early, I worked out (which I do everyday), I turned in my final portfolio, and then I wet snowboarding with my two best friends that I have been skiing with since I was young, and then I was pumped to go to the Library to study for my next final today. But then while I was studying in the library on my high from snowboarding I get a text from a good friends phone from Utah State that reads. To all the friends of Johnny Pat, we just barely located his phone and wanted to let all of you know that Johnny passed away friday night and his funeral will be held Tuesday at 10 a.m. in Evanston... This is another good friend who died young of a freak accident. I have currently lost 4 friends in the past 8 months, honestly what else could go wrong. This came at a time where my life seemed to be getting a little bit more normal, more upbeat. But the death of Johnny Pat brought back all the memories of the heart ache and pain I felt this whole summer and the past 8 months from Matt's death. He was a good friend of Matt's as well and we all had a good year together in the dorms at Utah State. I talked to Johnny Thursday and we had plans to do something over Christmas break. It is crazy to me that someone's life can be over in an instance. I even kissed Johnny haha. Life is a hard reality. My heart is aching, aching for Matt, I miss him with all my being, aching for Matt's family, for Johnny Pat's family (especially during the holidays). I know that it is God's plan and one thing that makes me smile is that Johnny Pat and Matt are probably in Heaven together, helping each other out. I will love them forever and know I will see them again.

Ali, you are a sweetie and don't deserve all of the crap you have had to deal with this past year. Makes you appreciate your life and how fleeting it is though I guess. Hopefully 2009 will turn a new page and bring with it a whole bunch of good times. :)
