Pain

I miss this kid with all my heart, it hurts!
I miss his laugh
I miss talking to him
I miss our long drives to Logan
I miss walking to class with him
I miss his soft hands
I miss watching the OC and One Tree Hill with him
I miss everything about him!
My heart aches to be with him, but I will someday
Love you Matthew Lawrence Knoop, you have made me who I am

And The Answer is Yes!

I GOT THE MARKETING ASSISTANT JOB!!!
I just found out on Thursday that I got the Marketing Assistant job for a company called IDS! I was so excited and I couldn't stop smiling after I got the call informing me that they wanted to offer me a job. I had my interview on Tuesday and it couldn't have gone better, but honestly it was unlike any interview I have ever had (in a good way). The first question that Matt (the guy interviewing me) asked was "What's your favorite movie?" and similar questions followed. Another question was "What was the most defining moment in your life?" I automatically knew what it was, but just thought great, I cannot cry in this office, in an interview. All I said was my best friend was hit by a car and killed while he was serving his mission, this was definitely the most defining and hardest time of my life. I couldn't believe that I was able to put all the words together and really describe how that moment has shaped who I am today, fully and completely. All in all I am really excited or should I say ecstatic about this job. I start February 23rd yikes! Apparently I have always wanted to be a career woman, here is a series of pictures from when I was young, wearing high heels and sitting at the top of the driveway with my pen and newspaper acting professional.

Even though my haircut is just aweful (Thanks Mom) I still am pretty adorable!
Thank you all for believing in me, I wouldn't be at this stage in my life without all of you.

Marketing Assistant

I have a job interview tomorrow for a Marketing Assistant with IDS Marketing Firm in Draper! I am nervous, but if it is meant to be it will happen. It is a funny story how this interview came about. I was sitting at work browsing craigslist on my iPhone and found a posting for a Marketing Assistant. I emailed the guy and asked if the position was still available and if I could send in my resume. He said he was interviewing, but to send my resume. I went right home and sent my resume off not thinking too much about it. Then what do you know Friday while my mom and I were at Costco (best sample day ever!) I got a call from a number I didn't know. What do you know it was Matt Makey from IDS saying that my resume was the most "cosmically beautiful one he had seen." (Thanks Brooks). He then asked for me to send some sample writings, even though he was trying to chose someone by Monday (today) my resume caught his enough that he asked for an interview tomorrow! Lets hope for the best! I love you all!

Starbucks -- All You Need Is Love

I am taking a PR Cases and Campaigns class every Thursday 4:30-8:30 (yes a 4 hour class is killer), but last night my teacher showed us this viral video on YouTube created by Starbucks and it made me smile so I wanted to pass it along to all of you! Happy Friday and remember All You Need is Love!

The Name of The Game is: Dating

I guess in this time of my life, Dating is the name of the game and can I tell you one thing.... Dating is hard and stressful.

I will admit that it has its perks for example: free meals, good company (for the most part), Jazz games (lots and lots of these), laughing, kissing (not every date), movies, hugs, and new friends. It also leads to frustration, wondering, self-doubt, and sometimes a broken heart. I have had my fair share of a broken heart and I can tell you that it isn't fun. That is why I have come to the conclusion that dating, relationships, and marriage are not easy. I already knew this of course, but now that I am dating non-stop it feels like, it has become more of a realization than a stated known fact that I have learned and witnessed. Help me, will I survive this so called game of dating? Any tips on how to survive? Please I love advice and I consider myself a good listener.
Love: an intense feeling of deep affection

Dating: Informal a social or romantic appointment or engagement
There is no where in the definition that says dating is hard. Oh well it is hard, but fun so I guess I will keep doing it, if I have to!

XOXO,
